No, I was just wondering because we have a new member here on Aidpage that has ans organization that helps peole in Sacramento, I think they are even willing to go outside the city, by how far I don't know, with free food, furniture, etc. Look for Sacramento in the search engine box.  in response to Schmidty...   Yes we need jobs, lower prices on food and so much more for people here. Of course the money goes not to us. One person a member here but other than that don't really know anyone there in Sacramento like relative, cousin etc. My sister use to see someone in Sunnyvalle but that was decades ago. I am familiar with Marin County.
Why? Do you want to move to Sacramento?

And I agree with you so much. Our president was on TV and guess what programs are going to be cut? Everything people need so we can have a like a monorail system. The news went by so fast. I just wanted to scream. I like having TV but it is not free anymore. I see all these people on there and it is like all is well with the rest of the world? Such a false sense of what is really not going on in the world.
Groceries are going up as with everything else. I wish I could live on coffee. I am not built that way but I know a lady who lives on two pots of it so her kid can eat. Her hubby got a job so that helps.
We all could use some of that money..

I agree that there needs to be changes. Who doesn't. I disagree on one point. "Sacrifices we must make to improve the future." Haven't we scrificed enough? Isn't it about time that we get to take 400,000 dollar junkets to Vegas.The business community has always made us sacrifice.The government has ransacked the social security program. Credit card companies can raise and(cough joke ) or lower anytime they wish. They have swindles millions from their customers(us) with no retribution,No sorrow, and most of all, no payback. Banks use our money to invest yet they don't want to give interest rates that they charge.

When anyone needs money who do they come to???? Us the people who they are constantly abusing.Take the Social Security program. The government has "dipped" their greedy little fingers into it time and time again. Now, they tell us that it's going to go broke before long. Duh, put the money that you have taken out over the years and never put back, back into it. I think that when you start working the money that thay take out for social security should go into your own 'private' account.Same with the banks, and if they want to use it they have to pay the same fair market value that we hae to pay.

The people who have the most wealth complain about what taxes they pay, how much of a burden it is, how they can't hire anyone unless they get breaks, waivers, or allowances. We are taxed on almost everything that we have. If they can they will tax us on more. Sacrifice, I think an undo burden has been put on the working people. I think we have been abused. Sacrifice, it's time thet the government , big business, and the banks give back what they have wrongly used and abused all these years.

Now, they want us to "invest" our money,what money? They take most of it.And you see how well that pans out by the way the market is.

Haiti , they are still asking for more donations. To what? Buy more tents. Where is all that money going? I could use some of that money. People who are loosing their houses could use that money, people who need to eat need that money. Sacrifice, I think we have sacrifice dearly for those who run our lives. Lotteries are allowed on the presumption that they will help the school system, the state, etc. where is that money going? It doesn't go to the schools, we hear how bad the teachers are because they can't pay them enough, the school system charges for books that they use for years, also. Where is all that money?
Sacrifice, what do yoou think we should sacrifice now?
